The Brethren Disaster Ministries of Idaho is planning a work project for the New Orleans area (Katrina) January 11 - 17, 2009. We have five commitments by individuals to go already.  We have room for ten more persons.  If you are interested in going, please contact Bud or Dee Fillmore.  They also plan to be project directors at this site for the month of January.

     If you cannot go but would like to sponsor someone, we can arrange that for you.  Each volunteer is responsible for half their plane fare and meals to and from the project site.  

     We also have room for four more people to go to Rushford, Minnesota (flooding) the week of May 4 - 10, 2008.  We need to know right away if you are interested in going.  Transportation will be furnished by the district.  We are taking the district's van.  Costs will include lodging, going and coming, as well as meals while traveling.  If interested contact Earl Troughber at 208-452-5420.
