The world has never been the same. Thursday, April 5, will find people all over the world gathering in places of worship and homes to remember the last night of Jesus life.  That night he had dinner (Passover) with his disciples.  While dinner was being served, Jesus washed the feet of those who dined.  Then he instituted what is now called "Communion" or the "Lord's Supper."

Take Highway 45 to Dan's Ferry Service gas station.  Follow the narrow road down to Walter's Ferry.  Turn left into the parking lot.

Cleo Swayne, our host, will be serving doughnuts and coffee following the service.

On November 19 Nampa Church of the Brethren will have one service celebrating all our blessings. The service will begin at 10:30. There will be no Sunday School that morning. Following the worship service everyone is invited to a grand Thanksgiving Meal. Officer Webb from the Nampa Police Department gave some tips. Great pizza served by Susan McKellip, Pete Smit and Betty Sullivan was enjoyed by everyone. Jen Kuehy, Pam Hardenbrook and Tonya Murphy-Thomas provided the leadership. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

During a special congregational meeting, Bill Miller was voted in as Nampa COB's new senior pastor.

Pastor Bill has been serving in the role as "intrim pastor" for just over a year.  On Sunday January 4, he became our new senior pastor.

Please take the time to welcome and greet Bill and Sue in the days and weeks ahead.  Also, please keep our church, leaders and Pastor Bill in your prayers as we start on this new and exciting journey.
